Born and raised in the beautiful region of Nagano, Japan, I have been immersed in the world of music from a very young age, starting piano and singing at just 3 years old. My passion for music led me to earn a Bachelor of Music in Classical Vocal Performance, and over the years, I've explored and mastered a wide variety of singing styles. As a professional singer with years of experience in live performance and music education, I bring a passion for music and a commitment to helping students develop their musical talents in a nurturing environment.

As a mother of two energetic boys, I’ve developed a natural ability to connect with children, creating a warm and supportive environment where they can thrive musically. My experiences as both a musician and a parent have shaped my teaching approach, blending professional expertise with patience, understanding, and a deep love for nurturing young talent.

At Cozy Music School, our goal is to nurture future musicians who truly love music. In Japan, music (音楽) means "to enjoy making sounds," and that’s the joy I want to bring to my students. When I began learning piano at age 3, I was taught through a traditional, rigid method, forced to practice songs I didn't enjoy, which made me dislike lessons. I don't want my students to feel that way.

I believe practice is essential for becoming a better musician, but it should come from a place of passion—not pressure. When students find songs they love, they naturally want to practice. My mission is to discover what inspires each student and make their musical journey enjoyable and meaningful.

As an all-around musician who sings and plays multiple instruments, I offer more than just piano lessons. I encourage my students to explore singing, playing by ear, theory, improvisation, and even composing. Music isn’t just about following lesson books—it’s about creativity and self-expression.
