Born and raised in the beautiful region of Nagano, Japan, I have been immersed in the world of music from a very young age, starting piano and singing at just 3 years old. My passion for music led me to earn a Bachelor of Music in Classical Vocal Performance, and over the years, I've explored and mastered a wide variety of singing styles. As a professional singer with years of experience in live performance and music education, I bring a passion for music and a commitment to helping students develop their musical talents in a nurturing environment.

As a mother of two energetic boys, I’ve developed a natural ability to connect with children, creating a warm and supportive environment where they can thrive musically. My experiences as both a musician and a parent have shaped my teaching approach, blending professional expertise with patience, understanding, and a deep love for nurturing young talent.

About School

Cozy Music School is a small, family-style music school run from my home in Edmonton. I started this school because I wanted music lessons to feel welcoming, stress-free, and fun—just like music felt for me when I was little.

Here, lessons aren’t about pressure or perfection. They’re about enjoying music, building confidence, and finding joy at the piano or through singing. Some kids love to practice every day, and others just want to explore music once a week—both are completely okay. I meet each child where they are and support them in their own way.

Our studio feels more like a cozy home than a classroom. Kids laugh, explore, and grow here, and families can feel comfortable knowing their child is learning in a warm, caring environment.
