1. What are your credentials?

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Classical Vocal Performance with a minor in Classical Piano. I have more than 5 years of experience as a professional singer and music educator, starting piano and singing at the age of 3.

2. What ages can you teach?

I teach piano and voice to students aged 3 and up.

3. What can we expect in your lessons?

My lessons are fun and interactive, combining singing, dancing, piano, and theory games. This keeps students engaged and helps them develop strong musical foundations.

4. Which lesson book series do you use?

I use either The Music Tree or Alfred series, depending on the student's age.

5. Do you allow the students to choose songs to work on?

Yes! In addition to the lesson book, I encourage students to choose songs they want to play. I simplify those songs into beginner-friendly versions when needed.

6. Do you teach RCM (Royal Conservatory of Music)?

While I have not taken the RCM exams myself, I offer foundational training. I do not currently prepare students for RCM exams.

7. Do you have a criminal record check?

Yes, I have an up-to-date criminal record check for the safety of all students.

8. What is your teaching style?

My teaching style is a mix of hands-on activities, including singing, dancing, piano playing, and theory games. I aim to make lessons engaging and fun for all ages.

9. Are you trained to teach special needs children?

No, I am not formally trained to teach special needs children, but I strive to create a welcoming and inclusive learning environment.

10. Are you able to teach from beginner to advanced?

I teach piano up to the intermediate level and voice up to the advanced level.

11. Can you teach multiple genres?

Yes! I teach multiple genres for both piano and voice, and I specialize in arranging popular game songs into beginner-friendly sheet music, which my students love.

12. Do you have recitals?

Yes, I am planning to have a year-end recital in June where students can showcase what they've learned.

13. What will the student-teacher relationship look like over time?

Over time, the student-teacher relationship will feel like a family. Teaching music is my passion, and I care deeply about each student's success in their musical journey.
